What are you thinking?

On Sunday Dec 3rd,  during worship I saw myself standing at a staircase.  It lead right up to the Father on His throne.

In the natural I heard Erin Roat and someone else laughing.  Almost like a laugh you would have with excitement when a rollercoaster was right at the top of a hill and about to go down.
Then, back to the vision I heard the Father say are you ready? I want to take you deeper into my heart but there is a cost.  The cost of letting go of mind sets that keeps you from fully entering into my heart.
When I went to speak this in front that Sunday something a little different came out of my mouth.  It was more or less the same except that I said that there were patterns in our thoughts that were keeping us from fully entering into the deep places of His heart.
Later Leslie confirmed with me that she had just looked at a scripture about do not be conformed to this world…transform your mind and the NIV version says do not be conformed to the patterns of this world.  She had been praying that we would become aware of and change the patterns that don’t make sense in our lives, that hold us back.
The next day, Dec. 4th, I was listening to some worship music that night and I saw myself entering a castle doorway.  I was a messenger telling everyone to get their armor on and to get ready.  We left to go to battle on horses ready to fight.  We were not fighting against people but thoughts and lies that we have let into our minds that keep us from fully being who we are in HIm.
We had full armor and everything we needed to fight against these lies.  Some of the people went to fight eager and strong and ready and determined and did well.  Others that went started off strong and then fell.  Those that were strong came to help them.  Then, there were others who didn’t leave the castle.  They already gave up and were convinced they couldn’t do it.  Or they were too afraid or they were talking badly about the battle or what was taking place.  They were left behind because they chose not to go forward.  They missed what was on the other side which was freedom.
Then, on December 6th, I was eating lunch and I felt like the Father spoke to me to read Romans 8.  It talks about how there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.  Yes we have heard this before but read on.  Jesus was the offering for us so we could walk according to the Spirit.  But those who walk according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh.  The mind that is set on the things of the flesh is death but the mind set on things of the Spirit is life and peace.  This is why when our minds are set on the flesh we can not please God.
But, we ARE in the Spirit!  We  belong to Jesus.  He dwells in us!
In Verse 12 it says that we are under obligation not to the flesh but to the Sprit!  We are to put to death the deeds of the body and we will live.  For all who are being lead by the Spirit of God are sons of God.
Verse 15 For you have not received a spirit again to slavery leading to fear, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out Abba!  Father!.
Verse 18 talks about the sufferings of our current time are not worthy of the comparison with the glory that is to be revealed to us.  For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God…
Then it goes on about how creation is not set free yet from the slavery of corruption because the sons are not aware of who they are in Him!
Verse 22 For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now.  23 And we not only this, but also we ourselves, having the first fruits of the Spirit, even waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our body.
I believe that this is pointing to we need to be careful of our thoughts.  In the beginning of Romans 8  it talks about us being lead by the flesh or by the Spirit and what each is like.  All of creation, including people because we are of creation also, groans waiting for us to know who we are as sons.  Like as in childbirth.  Waiting to birth LIFE!  Waiting.  They are waiting for us to come forth and know who we are so LIFE can come.  We even are groaning within ourselves waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons.
We need to fight the thoughts that keep us from knowing and walking out our sonship.  This brings me back to the vision that I had.  The Father was tying it all together for me.  We may not know how to pray about things about how to get rid of the thoughts that keep us from moving forward and getting free to know His heart deeply but His Spirit is interceding for us with groanings too deep for words.
So, what are we waiting for?  The rest of Romans 8 says God causes ALL things to work together for our good to those who love God.  Also that He already has a plan for us.  He was of the firstborn among many who has been called who He justified and glorified!  He was the first of many meaning the first of those being born after Him which includes us.
If God is for us who can be against us?
I am challenging myself to watch my thoughts.  To catch myself when I start to think things that are not the way He would think.  He wants us to go so deep into His heart WITH HIm.  He wants to speak to us in new ways and show us new things.  He wants us to walk out our sonship here.  Creation is waiting for us.  A way to go forward in this is by watching our thoughts.  They can lead us into His heart or away from it.
Will you join me in doing this?  I have shared this with several people and knowing that I am being tested even now in what I write and I am thankful that the Father shared this with me.  I just feel this determination to go and take people’s hands and pull them up and help them see who they really are and to see how much He really is in them.  He has so much for us but our thoughts can derail us or distract us from that very thing.  Don’t be afraid to let go and be in His peace and know that He is completely with you.  Stay focused and lock eyes with Him and His love for you.
